RE: Global Security
the best way to move forward with global affairs...is to outlaw dictators and drug cartels...implement UN sanctioned assassination squads...and start ridding the planet of these sorts of things

RE: Global Security
Let them deal with their own issues.

Our nation's security is a total mess and need a complete revamping.

We also need to STOP FUNDING other nations - our people bail out countries and corporations and when we need it no one is there!

It must be changed ... NOW!

RE: Global Security
The US has been meddling in the affairs of other nations for many years, assassinating democratically-elected leaders, working behind the scenes to make the world safe for corporatations. They TALK about democracy/humanitarian aid, whatever and it is all a lie.

US meddling has made us LESS secure and invariably had bad results for the people of that nation and in the long run for us as well. It has had good results for a very few, very rich people.

They seem to think the best defense if a good offense, but no, the best defense is a good defense.

RE: Global Security
Global security can be improved by more cooperation between countries, this best can be reached by economic and educational activities.

There are of course a number of threats to security and they have to be suppressed and eliminated. This can be done by diplomatic and economic pressure and eventually as an option of last recourse militarily. But more as threat, punishing strikes and short term military actions. Big scale invasions and occupations should be avoided.

As long as we talk and doing business together security will be improved.

Just a thought: instead of bombing someone, why not buy them?

Buying the "enemy" or opposition as you like, is not a bad idea.

It has been done before, exhaust your opponent financially, force him to incur high cost which he cannot bear. That will make him acceptable to your ideas about the world and peace. it is a kind of buying him.

Of course you can also buy him directky, give/donate him enough money, so that he will change his position and accept your policy/plan, like is being done in parts of Aghanistan.
